THE CHALLENGE: A manufacturer rep needs to relate deals to projects so can sell building envelopes (exterior custom glass doors, etc.). But these projects needed to be related to buildings, and the rep didn’t want to keep re-entering data for the same building all the time. Also, he didn’t want to keep re-typing all the related parties to a project. So, if he worked with the same architect, he wouldn’t have to re-key that architect’s contact information on each deal. And, he can quickly see whether he’s met that architect at multiple projects.
THE SOLUTION: MondoCRM built a single database where the rep can enter the data once, and relate it to either a project, or building without re-keying every bit of contact detail, especially when one project can have 16 parties and 8 deadlines to manage. All with a single CRM product efficiently designed and constructed. As each type of record was displayed, the CRM automatically changed which fields were necessary to display.
